I have a very diverse and eclectic background ranging from auto mechanics to drafting to computer science programing and administration. In 2006 I built an Old School Bobber motorcycle from an idea I had drawn up on a marker board. In March of 2008 I won the Bobber class at the Rats Hole Bike Show during the Daytona Bike Week, and that same year the bike was written up in American Iron magazine.
In 2014 I purchased a HyperTherm 45 Plasma machine and did a few custom fabrication project when the idea of building a CNC Plasma cutter in my garage came to mind. So, during a 2 week break over Christmas in 2015 I welded up a 6 foot by 10 foot table, purchased an aluminum gantry, and all the electronics and motors to create a CNC Plasma Table - in my garage.
Don's Metal Worx Gargage was created.
